The agreement
Last updated 6 September 2026
Plain terms for using Tactika. By creating an account you're agreeing to them.
A software coaching tool. It reads what you connect to it, keeps track of what you're working toward, and asks you useful questions. It's a thinking aid — it doesn't make decisions for you, and it isn't a substitute for your own judgement about your career.
This one matters, so it's stated plainly rather than buried:
Don't try to break it, scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. Don't use it to store or process anything unlawful. Coaching runs on a language model with a monthly cost budget per account; extraordinary usage may fall back to a simpler mode rather than being cut off.
You keep ownership of everything you put in. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing it, processing it, and sending the relevant parts to the model providers that generate your coaching. That permission ends when you delete your account.
We'll keep it running as reliably as we can, but this is software: there will be outages, and features will change. If we make a change that materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
You can delete your account at any time, from Settings, and it's immediate and permanent. We may close an account that's being used abusively or in breach of these terms — with notice, and with a chance to export your data, unless the abuse makes that unsafe.
Tactika is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that legally can't be limited.
